Melvin,

both of my forks are the same. I used a pump with a needle, the same as used on a 98 SID. I guess you could use a football needle, I have a chuck which screws onto a schock pump onto which a hypodremic needle fits...

Okay, thank you! So nothing wrong with my fork. Probably it has to do with that the reviewed fork was a prototype ...and it probably also has to do with that I have never really been in the suspension thing.

Now it is only to acquire a decent pump.

did someone of you dissamble the fork?

my problem is:
the upper standing tubes are still fixed at the diving tubes
(I hope this are the right terms)

I need a long 4mm allen key to get them from each other, do I ?

No Arran, it is still sitting here in a box.

As Rody pointed out to me I need to be really tough for the Grove HC, I am now planning it for the Grove.
