92/93 clockwork proj

Controls fitted to bar. Slightly unusual combo, but functional. Stx-rc shifters (8speed) and suntour xc comp brake levers.

Deore lx pedals going on. Not sure if these are going to stay...the Mrs will decide.
I restored these with some regreasing and brush-painted bits with hammerite.

Purple was one of the colours available for the clockwork in 92/93 and the decals really finish it off.
I love those levers too. They were the first upgrade part i ever bought for a bike. Very comfortable levers that work well!
More progress soon :)

You mean the frame or were you referring to one of the parts?
This clockwork frame is made of tange infinity tubing (essentially double-butted chromoly steel with tapering between the butts). Most clockworks of the 90s were made like this except the 94-era cross over period just before they made the c16r....and of course excluding that awful modern 29er thing that they dared stick a clockwork decal on.
The fork is from a later orange p7 and is made of orange's own chromoly steel tube (series 7 or 8 I think).
