Re: 1992 Klein Adroit Backfire

All this searching for UL parts... why not just find a real UL Adroit???? Lucky me :)

Some of the parts are missing, but I have most of them already including a very clean Gator Strata!

I got really lucky, seller had a lot of much higher offers and yet somehow sold it to me at his original asking price.

I will have some spare parts, so we'll talk when I get them bike and see what's what.

Re: 1992 Klein Adroit Backfire

Finally changed the spindles for the XC-Pro pedals

Put on a pair of Ritcheys Duro-K 26x2.0 WCS, and another Flite titanium...

Got the weight now at 8.93 KG, for the people who don't speak in KG's, that's 19.68 Lbs ;)

Maybe some other tires and some more tita and it can go under 8.9 KG....but i'm already happy it's under 9 KG.

Oh yeah, and the wheels

Holy cow!?!! Under 9 kg?!

Good job!
Need some tips to get mine down, although I have no clue about weight right now...

Re: 1992 Klein Adroit Backfire

MC2 frameset is lighter than MC1....so that should be possible, some light wheels and tires.....
