People ride the Verderers daily on bikes that cost thousands without incident.

Get them dirt tyres on and stop fussing :roll:

You obviously have no conception of my incompetence. I nearly lost it half a dozen times on my FS. Not saying the bike will break due to trail, more likely to get wrapped around a tree! Anyway, I've blown my budget on this one as without the tyres it was just under £40. The Giant is £25all in and I really don't care about it as it has no soul or investment unlike my lovely Marin ;)

If anybody wants the Giant make me an offer and you can take it on the day!
 
In that case ride the Giant.

The main thing... in fact the only thing of importance is that you enjoy the ride and have a laugh... mostly at us lot struggling with our cast iron and shopper bikes.

I've just talked a mate into coming spike do you still want to sell activtor and could you bring with you on the day ?

I'd have loved to sell it, but unfortunately I gave it away yesterday for £0 :facepalm:
