I managed to spill a full pint of Vimto on my laptop (Asus) keyboard  and now half the keys are next to useless! I have worked out how to prize the keys off and replace them but it's going to take an absolute age.

Does anyone know any quick fixes?

(next time I'll stick to beer!)

you were lucky, had a laptop in at work the other day where someone had tipped a cup of milky sugary coffee in their laptop. I had to replace the hard drive, CD drive and the keyboard. cost about £200 all in... that was one expensive coffee

A Slightly sad fact, but as I worked in the IT industry for a company that repairs PC's & Xbox's. The most common thing that damages hard-drives on PC's/Xbox's is smoke from cigarettes !!! This builds up over time & fk's up the optical lense on the lasers inside drives etc....sad but a true fact!!
