I've bought a 1983 Koga-Miyata Gents racer frame, after a low-ball offer on eBay was surprisingly successful.
This has the gear lever boss on top of the down tube (B-type in Shimano jargon), not one either side like I'm used to.
For practicalities sake, I'm going to run this 7 speed, with Shimano 600 index shifters (6400). These have the usual curved washers. Are there adapters available to run the levers on the single boss? If so, where am I likely to find one?
