The uppers are the same dia. and spacing, there's really not that much too it.

ok, so if I buy a set of Judy lower legs (with canti hanger) then any 28mm sid I will be able to make a hybrid from the two?...or do I need a specific year of sid? :)

Cheers

preferably a 63mm sid, because legs aren't same length...

Well I thought the only difference between a 63 and 80mm Sid was in the top out assembly? But its been about 10 years since I touched an early model Sid.

my 99 judy legs are shorter for almost 1 inch than the 99 sid legs...but works well...
so, for me any sid with 63mm travel are good for early judy xc or sl legs...will try on my 96 dh with 80mm, just to see ^_^

Ok...but thats no big deal as there is plenty of room in the lowers, its more of an issue if the legs are too short as they wouldn't get enough bushing overlap.

Any more info chaps?...still seems a bit confusing to me :?
