My X-tools is really nice, comes with extra bits and the pressure is taken up by the movable end part. All my other ones I've had eventually gave up and a resting plate snapped eventually. just remember what the end bit is for, you adjust it to rest against the plate, else it'll end up like the rest I would guess.

The little Park Chain Brute is nice, well made and spare pins are available easily. If you use a chain tool a lot though, the CT3 is worth every penny. It's a joy to use and will last beyond eternity.
I'd go for a Park CT-3 as it'll last! You can replace the pins as required and it just feels nice to use. Before that I went through a chain tool every year or so (fixing a lot of bikes tbf)
