North American Handmade Bicycles Show (NAHBS)2013

That moots looks like it's using krampus wheels so i suspect that is their offering to the 29+ gang

that flex plate I suspect like softrides will be very rider weight specific, i am slightly envious being only in south dakota and in denver on the 6th so will miss it

you lucky git :D

Those bikes are mkozaczek's (member on here from SoCal). He has a thread in Retro Chat about going to the show.

yeah i chatted to him for a while, couldn't remember his name though, they were spot on, he's going the extra mile with his work

It's 10am, just finishing breakfast, well busy here at the hotel, then Tom Ritchey wanders in, he still has the best porno/magnum PI tache ever!

Time for day 2 at the show, I think today will be way busier but there is some sort of giveaway tonight at the end of the show.

Truely handsome guy, and happens to be same that almost killed himself in Moab :D
Enjoy your time there, what's on your to do list trail wise?

no the Demon isn't with me, although Tom managed to get a really good deal of £40 each way for his show bike so maybe i should have brought mine, that said the hassle of lugging it around the airport 4 times might have been a pain. it will be at the bespoked bristol show though. also the Geekhouse guys are coming over for bespoked

@yo-eddy, planning on doing as much riding in Moab as possible, apparently they haven't had much snow and the temps have been quite comparable to the uk at the moment so i should beable to get some good rides in.

it's currently 2pm so i've popped back to the hotel for a bit, yesterday i was at the show for around 7 hours, today about 5 hours so i thought i'd have a break before going back in for the show party at 6pm.

got a few more pics, and got some gopro footage which i'll quickly try and edit up, got spotted by Geoff at Steve Potts bikes, he was told to look out for an english guy called jon by 'justkev' so we had a good chat about Tashi's (probably spelt wrong) 1987 steve potts mtb which was flawless.

also Erik Noren from peacock groove bikes, one of the funniest crazy guys i have ever met, the guy is film/anime obsessed and it shows in his builds

more pics etc to follow in a while
:D

yeah it looks really cool, and i understand why the frankenstein bike is the frankenstein bike now!
