British Shifters & Brakes

I'm still in the process of collecting parts for my early 90s and I've just realised that most of the parts I've collected are British, except for the shifters and brakes, does anyone know if there are any British companies that make shifters & brakes out there?
 
This has come up several times before. Will try a search and post some links.

The obvious brakes are early hope discs.

Shifters not so much unless you want to go Sturmey Archer 3 speed?

Slightly easier if you go Retro-modern as hope spread their wings a bit more. MTB Pedals are also near impossible

Thanks for the link, I tried searching but I kept find threads like "British steel hardtail with Shimano shifters & brakes" which contained the terms I wanted, just not in the right context.

I've not heard of X-Like Chicken Shix before, I'll do a search for them.
