Holes were cut with a 44mm or 1 1/2" holesaw, awfy laborious, I had a pillar drill which helped, I've seen people doing it with a hand drill but I reckon that would be a bit of a mare.

The pair cost me 80 euro, Surly's equivalent rim costs £149 a piece. Sure the finish isn't as good nor the quality and it was a fair bit of work but I had the time and inclination, I can see how some just plump for the factory drilled option.
 
Two hunner and 98 quid :shock: . Fack me it makes the 80 euros a pair seem like they are giving them away. :roll:

Glad my tastes in bikes doesn't include expensive modern stuff. :cool:
