What has been your contribution to mountain biking.......

I helped run the Beastway series of grassroots mountainbike races for 10 years.

built the first bmx trails in scuny, got loads into riding and digging, then chair'd the local skatepark board and got even more riding...and skatin ;) a hand full of the sprogs have gone on to do wonderful things and make me so proud, had a few "shouts" in mags/media etc of thanks. :D


not much in the grater scale of things but im proud

oh, and made people smile riding mountain mayhem on a trek 9000 wearing a bear suit lol
 
I came in dead last in a bunch of races... someone has to, figured I'd save someone else the the embarresment. (seem to get more cheers than winning in sport class...)

I remember riding those when I lived in east London riding against guys like Ray Eden, Danny Milner and Jenny Copnall from the Magic Bicycle shop and guys like Clive Gosling when he was in town. Happy, halcyon days.
