Have recently dismantled bb on my raleigh banana.As suggested on previous posts there doesn't,t appear any pitting on cups, bearings all in one piece but grease the consistency of rancid butter.It would appear that movement in bb was due to poor adjustment caused by lack of adjustable cup lock ring.Its obviously been missing sometime going on the state of the threads were it should be.Does anyone have any idea where I might obtain a lock ring without having to purchase cups axle etc.Other than dropping on one on a scrapper somewhere I don,t seem to be having much luck.Cheers in advance for any suggestions.
