anyone know how much it would cost for a new drop out to be fitted?

Look on argos repair prices for a rough guide......but cheaper if you don't have to post...ant builders local to you ?

Argos quote £90 !.......it looks very bent, but with enough heat it may bend back ok, i've done a few in the past when i was a mechanic, but never one that bent, :?:

Looks like the drop out it'self has bent open, i would ask for a close up to see if it's split..............braised on socket drop out........perhaps someone has a doner frame with same drop out ?

These frames come up on a regular basis, so I'd hold fire and wait for a good'n.
The repair could cost more than you'd pay for a straight one!
