Just back from Morzine, and my wife used the Super 8 out there. Whilst out we meant this guy and took a photo

This is evolution, yes that is a carbon V10
 
Saw a lot of carbon V10s out there, a lot of them were a lot more expensive than that as well though! Can't beat a bit of old school single pivot functionality, that's what I'm currently rocking. Wouldn't say no to something a bit more modern though!!
 
Bit of a grave dig here, but tomorrow I will be stripping the yellow Super 8 and putting the parts on a different DH frame
 
One think that got me with the Mk2 Super 8 was despite the really chunky tubes and the girder like construction of the swingarm, how the dropouts were only held on with little allen keys bolts. I was really impressed with all the bracing etc on the swingarm, no idea how they managed to develop cracks. They must have been one of the first to use a wider and oversized rear axle were they? 142 x 10?
