my old MTB Parkpre steel - rebuild

Loving that acid green mate - where did you get if from - i got a destroyed palisades to build and would love it in that color.

Furious Freds? Very light tyres - easy way to knock a pound off your bike, but as previously noted very fragile. I've not a problem with using modern tyres on a retro build. Sammy Slicks are a bit heavier but also more robust.
 
Bit late to the party but wow, great rebuild and that looks amaznig fully built.

Great work.
 
It was nice to take it apart piece by piece and reconstruct it 1993, components are the same, Now I use it to go to work but I would change it again ...

Really nice project --- and result! And interesting to see how the hubs were comming apart due to time. Nice work on the reconstruction of the wheels!
