How do I make a black Thomson 'post silver?

Take it to a powder coat shop. They will dip it overnight in a hot chemical that will remove anything painted on the metal. I've done it many times on frames and parts and the result is wonderful. The best part is...it doesn't cost much.

Until a few years ago, everything in the Thomson range came in both black and silver. Keep an eye on eBay and one will show up.
