Thought I'd better introduce myself before I start asking questions.
I am an ex road racer/mountain biker. I raced from the late 80s through to around 2001. I did the usual and trained too hard and hacked myself off with bikes. I started riding again a year ago after a 10 year break.
I'm now a mountain biker and ride an Intense Spider HVP trail bike. I also have a 1998 Klein Pulse Race mountain bike/pub bike.
I am currently rebuilding an old 1989 Holdsworth Professional 531C road bike which I started my amateur racing career on. My wife won me the bike in a competition run by a local bike shop and I've never had the heart to get rid of it. This is the reason I am using the Retrobike site. It seems that everything has changed with bikes and I am gonna have a few questions I think.
