Where are you getting the frame anodized? Did you have to remove the threaded inserts?

CCA, where else. It can take an age, but they do great stuff (hopefully this time too).

I did remove all the bottle bosses very carefully with a 5/6 mm drill bit.

Thanks for that. I looked into getting mine re-anodized but the hassle of drilling out the inserts and sending the frame away out weighed the fact that I could cover the offending scratch up with a sticker!

I got in contact with the original firm that did the anodizing for Pace. They are called Moss Metal Finishing in Halifax. If thats of any use.

Looking forward to seeing the finished frame

I love those no-build-threads
I hate those no-build-threads

I would mount the PACE stem beter than the Zooka, but both will be great.

This is gonna be great!!!

Frame back, lovely finish, red parts back, lovely finish for the most part, one totally shite piece though (can you guess which from the pics?), but all in all quite happy. Sorry about the pics, low light and crappy camera = Low light crappy pics. Waiting on a few pieces, chain, gear outers, Geoff is busy designing/making the more modern head badge, but have the rest of the stuff, it's just a waiting game. Weighs 17.5 lbs as is, but then it does still have a lot of heavy stuff to add.

Edit - LBS forgot to put a bottle boss in the rear monostay, D'oh, only just noticed when loading the pics.

Cheers...Nick

May get it finished this week if I get the head badge through. Had to get a few things filed off the brake levers and some low head bolts, otherwise they would have been totally impractical to use with thumbies. As it is, the are now only slightly impractical to use :D

Cheers...Nick
