Please tell me how you removed this bottom bracket? Do you have the tool? I have one and really want it out!!!!!

The Park BBT-7 has multiple contact points that hit the lockrings just right. They make a different tool (all silver) that doesn't work nearly as well. You may wanna spray it with a little penetrating oil first, you won't believe how easily it comes out :D

The cups come out easy with a spanner tool, can't remember if I used green or red but i can check if u are on the verge of buying one.

:D Would very much appreciate you checking, the bearings have just died so it's crunch time!!!! Hell if you can see any bearing details on yours I'd also be much appreciated.

It's the red Park spanner that works on the cups, the prongs on the green one are too large. The bearings on this Syncros bb (pictured above) read 9300 (space) then two barely legible numbers, I think "03"

I have another Syncros bb that's about to be pictured in my Ibis Ti Mojo build thread, those bearings read "6903Z" and "KYK" and "JAPAN" The bearings on both brackets are 7mm.

edit: also see here: http://www.bikepro.com/products/bottom_ ... ncros.html

Thanks, tools on order. I think this is going to be the most expensive bottom bracket removal in history!!!!

You could probably get away with something makeshift instead of using the red Park spanner tool - perhaps a spoke would work if cups aren't too tight. The BBT-7 tool is indispensable. You'll get that bracket out no problem! :!:
