THEY TOLD ME WHEN I GO IT BACK

we dont tig we only braze

i got my old tube back, thought they may have took a look at it to copy what type of clamp i was using

mercian in derby :?

Well you're one up on me then - they refused to touch my bike because it was TIG-welded. You'd have thought that TIG was a contagious disease the way they were talking. To be fair, I knew perfectly well that don't do TIG-welding and I was perfectly happy for them to fillet braze the repair. If you wanted your repair TIGed, there aren't many places in the UK that will/can do it AFAIAA.

here it is after paint with a really bad photo done on me new phone, will be built up tonight,

Awesome! :D

Now have it properly protected against rust. I've done my Yo, Serotta & co and my SAAB with Mike Sander. Best stuff in the world. Quite a hassle to work with, as the stuff has to be heated up to 100 celcius and sprayed in with a compressor. I my case I also had to buy abroad, as it was not available overhere. Anyway quite an investment, but if you have many bikes and a car you would like to save, it will be worth it.
