The Lap is on!

On Sunday the 8th of July we leave for an epic round-trip of Scotland.

As Dr Emmett Brown quite rightly said - "Where we're going, we don't need roads!", and as such we'll be choosing a course that avoids the asphalt wherever possible. Instead we'll be opting for some of Scotland's finest long distance paths in both the West Highland Way and Great Glen Way along with the Forth & Clyde Canal towpath and the national cycle network back from Inverness.

All-in we reckon it's about 387-ish miles, taking in some of the finest landscapes that Scotland has to offer. We'll be working hard, having an ace time, and rasing money for charity in the process, and we want you to join us!

Check out the daily route plan below and get booking your days off ASAP!

Day 1 : Sun 8/7 : Edinburgh to Rowardennan : 70 miles
Day 2 : Mon 9/7 : Rowardennan to Bridge of Orchy : 33 miles
Day 3 : Tue 10/7 : Bridge of Orchy to Fort William : 35 miles
Day 4 : Wed 11/7 : Fort William to Fort Augustus : 35 miles
Day 5 : Thu 12/7 : Fort Augustus to Inverness : 40 miles
Day 6 : Fri 13/7 : Inverness to Kingussie : 50 miles
Day 7 : Sat 14/7 : Kingussie to Dunkeld : 58 miles
Day 8 : Sun 15/7 : Dunkeld to Edinburgh : 66 miles

Get in touch if you want to join in, martin_lisle@yahoo.co.uk.

If you don't then chuck some money in for your choice of charity below and we'll be eternally grateful...
