70k Off road near London anyone?

Just seen the bucks off road sportive, http://www.bucksoffroadsportive.co.uk/

It's not a RB national series ride but in the spirit of the HONC does anyone else fancy it?

It's relatively close to London with a choice of distances, 70, 100 & 132 kms respectively.

I might go and limp round the 70. :? It's so close it would be rude not to.

ooof, did anyone do this?

I didn't see many retrobikes - not one bike with rigid forks and 1 bike with v-brakes - discs seemed to be the order of the day.

Managed to finish the 100k but at a terrible cost

I decided to take my sub 10 kg weightweenie FS bike that has tiny saddle and that saddle nearly killed me. After 2 hours I was in agony and it must have partially cut off the blood supply to my legs (not to mention gentlemen's parts) that I had nothing in my legs, the next 4 hours were a real struggle .... and to cap it off, got cramp in my left leg twice. Absolute nightmare of a ride. :?
