1995 Kona Kula

Looks great :cool:

For me maybe something a bit more subdued for the grips might be more in place but that's obviously your choice and it's your bike so enjoy it :)

For me the one thing that sours the build is the fork decals :(

Whilst I can see what you have done in recreating the older style they just look a bit ....... meh :?

Have a word with Gil_M of this parish.

He kindly replicated some decals I drew up customizing the color to match the frame decals. IMHO I think some of these would look great.

Decals are the "elephant" in the room I was looking
For a few honest thoughts(right place to get them) the
Decals were always a maybe work/or not.. Gil done these ones
At my request I'm sure he did try to steer me toward
Original "bomber" logo's.. Question is colour ..
Gold "bomber" black outline ? Black "bomber" gold outline. ?
Orange "bomber" black outline ?

Thoughts welcome folks :)
 
First of all compliments on this build! I like it a lot.

The grips are mostly covered once you get goin' - leave 'em on!
The subtle gold stuf - like that a lot!
The decals on the Fork - difficult... I would either try to make them smaller, or match the style of the frame decals (at least outlines would be nice)
Other than that if you find matching thumbs up decals, just put those on, would mimmick the Kona P2's with just those small decals...

Its pretty low quality just wanted to show the colours really.

These are the decals Gil has on file.

Any probs let me know as I have the file somewhere.
