Really, I've never heard of Veloflex... maybe they're not imported in Italy. Got any other advice? Dunno... Contis, Vittoria, or others?

I would say they are the best. I have a pair of the blacks on a Ambrosio Excellence rims with Michelin latex tubes and they are lovely. The tubular versions are even nicer - but getting very expensive.

oops.. they're italian... i just have never ridden on road... been riding mtbs since 1990, but never road bikes....
BTW veloflex or contis, I''ll see... thanx for the advice, don't want to keep bad tires on a cool bike...
