Rear hub bearings?

Does anybody have pictures of bearing placement under a freehub?

I'm designing a wheel and none of my 10mm allen keys fit any of my hubs :?

what type of freehub, the bearing vary by design ?

If for something like Hope, then pop to their site they have the blow out diagrams there.
For others, like Shimano, their patents will be somewhere.

Just looked at the Hope site but can't really see what I need.

Basically what I'm designing is a sealed bearing hub, and I need to see whaere the bearings go on the drive side.

I think on my old hope hub there was one that sat behind the freehub body (just behind the 'splines' ) and one in the end of the freehub body i think.

Hope wheels freehubs dont bolt in though.

Furthest points apart from each other that do not hit the pawls.
Then the two doing similar to support the freehub.
4 bearing in all on that style of hub.

Does this help

Shimano is different
the bearing are sat at the far end just outside the flange.
then at the furthest point under the freehub body about under the 2nd or 3rd cog in.
The freehub is then clamped into the body tightly. (this wide bearing support was one of the winning concepts over the freewheel)

I suggest you do searches in google Images and also go get a shimano, a hope style and other hubs and pull them apart.

Or there is a mixure of the two in stlye, like the CK
