Yes I know this is a little bit of a BSO (BMX Shaped Object) but it was marginally cheaper to buy this, at the time, than keep trashing wheels on my Zaskar. So, here we go. Pretty much all original, apart from the seatpost / saddle (which I have stashed somewhere) and the front brake. Fitted V's on the front, many years ago, planning on digging out the original U brake when I get time. :)

Have since fitted the original Diacomp Bulldog brake on the front. Looks a lot better just need to get it to stop well now! :D

On yellow koolstops at the moment, just doesn't seem to stop on the nail - but might just be an unfair comparisson with V's. :) Been bus servicing recently and she's riding better all the time (unlike me! :D )

Any pads that you'd recommend? Going to nip down DAI (Direct Arms Importers) lunchtime - seem to remember that have quite a bit of BMX stuff.

there are a couple of better pads but you need to get them from ebay or from a proper bmx shop

most standard bike shop will only have a stock of standard bike pads - they are just plan and nothing special

proper bmx shops get proper bmx pads in that work

see a couple of links that will do good pads

they are pretty much all the same - clear pads are a bit softer and have a ON/OFF action - mine are like this and feel like Porsche stopper ~ down side is the sound it's like i'm strangling a bag of cats :?

proper or Odyssey simbyfour would be a good choice ;)
