the peaks national meet

You guys should decide as I'm a non driver unless there's 'L' plates available. A night camping possibly would be sensible and the Sat night option would allow a bit more socialising. I'll do what I'm told and of course put cash in the various fuel tanks ;)

Aye, I pretty much booked the whole weekend. Agreed that a Sat night of beer and RB quiz japery would fit the bill, but don't want you letting young Cam down - Early start up the road on Sunday possibly?

don't worry we can find another long distance run to do- I will doff my cap and go for a pass the night- wish me luck boys

So, if it is to be Saturday night, shall we get organized and sort out a joint Mac/Yorkie campsite booking?

There is a campsite in Hope/ Castleton but I have never stayed there. My choice would be one of the Edale campsites a few miles up the road, all of which are pretty good and cheap.

Good idea but Gaz has to get his pass first. I'll be looking SW tonight for the blinding flash and mushroom cloud with the sonic boom sounding like 'You want to do what....!!!!!'

stayed in the edale one many moons ago and it was very nice- not to far from a good pub IIRC- happy with that myself- I have 2 pop up tents if you two fella's want to use one (share with each other  ), they have the advantage of being very light and don't take up much space?

will post later on when I have deployed the gazz magic.
