Cheers...but the plaudits must go to the man above, "Sinnerman" . I was so impressed with his previous 2 Kona resto's, I thought I would let him loose on mine. He could fill you in, but is has been redone from scratch, and looks pretty faithful I must say (Not got it back yet)
I think the hardest part of the remainder of the build will be obtaining the NOS 26.4mm XC Pro post :roll:

Just a stock 19" frame (trick photography). £10 pair of chinese "trax" tyres. I like them for pics as they have no markings and are a nice "skin" colour

I think people are all Kona'd out these days. I do have the original bars & stem that I will get sorted at some time

Still can't believe the condition of some of those parts, your going to be afraid to ride it when it's finished!

Just had the bars/stem blasted, so waiting for them to be painted, and also just received the chainrings back newly anodised in BLACK.

Stunning. Care to reveal where you got this fantastic NOS kit? I need to find some similar kit for a 90 Lava Dome.

Very very nice but you should remove the grease from the axle of your BB. They should be a dry fit.
