XT wheelset Q's?

In the market for a new wheelset soon.
Looking for something that I can do XC, enduro, bit of trail. Only thing is that I'm 125kg's and it has to be standard QR front and rear....
Was looking at the XT trail wheelsets however they only have them in 20 & 15mm.
Are straight pull spokes better?
Can you get adapters for these wheelsets to make them QR on the front?
 
Straight pull spokes are not as strong a configuration as a standard 3-cross assembly. What about XT 32 hole hubs on a strong Mavic rim i.e. the EX721 or similar?

I too agree EX 721 rims are bombproof I had a set made up by Merlin cycles 16 stone and still perfectly true

Funnily enough Merlin built mine. I rate their wheels since Wheelpro jacked it in.
 
Thanks guys... I was just looking at those rims.
Think I'm going to look at those rims on some Hope pro 2 hubs?
Are the Hope Pro 2's worth spending the extra money over the XT hubs?
I was going to look at a Rohloff hub but can't justify that sort of the money at the moment.

Preferably I want ano red hubs... just to be wanky :LOL:
 
I would guess the Pro 2 will be grand. I am running Hope Bulbs on mine which are great and also red.
