MAN Utd

'Was...it....good'?

Joint top with Berbaflop i believe, though to be fair you did pay 6 mill (or Vincent Kompany) more.

" If city are going to break the wage structure again they need to worry about the UEFA rulings on breaking even. Interesting times as they say ".

I'm sure the boys and girls in charge will appreciate your concern but i would'nt be worrying too much about us and finances (thats your game), i presume your not aware that they have very recently signed the biggest ($'s) stadium sponsor nameing game ever (or that Disney/own Fox TV/ have dumped Chelski in favour of us come the start of the next season/add the planned 100k visitors a week (a week) £'s /you read that correct/ to whatever it is they plan to build around the stadium ) ......'ever'. You certainly got the 'intresting' bit reet ;)

Joint top scorer in the league. Seems the 'flop' has flipped.

I can't see City duplicating United's attendances unless they match their on pitch performances, so hopefully the other attractions can bring in the money. How about a strip club?

Congrats on the cup.

Good year for Manchester, whatever happens in the Barca game.

I know plenty of reds that would straight swop Berbie for Carlos back in Trafford, they understand what his persona brings to a team, by power of personality he's ultimately made Mancini understand that setting-up negatively will not do.

The 100k a week is besides the match day attendance (the ground will definately be transformed into a state of the art 80k seater/possibly with a 5 star hotel built into it)....least thats the shout. It's also rumoured that within not such a stretch in time Manchester Airport will be rechristend Manchester City Airport (i kid you not) and the Airport complex will become a city in itself (so to speak). You may have noticed that the Eithad waiting area/lounge/room is livered in Sky Blue and white leather with blow-ups of The City of Manchester Stadium dotted around the place. £80 million£ was recently chucked at linking Piccadilly & Victoria stations...which pathes the way to re-open a disused goods line to provide the Eastlands site with it's own Train Station (which ultimately will take you to the Airport or London)...totally seperate to the metro station within the ground (free metro passes will be worked into match day experiences). It's only not funny when we've got the $'s...no wonder thier setting fire to scarfs.

Congrats on the cup.

certainly is

The club ain't saying much, apparently thats not the owners way but the groundwork for the old Super Casino site cost 19million inclusive of some civil engineering stunt thats never been performed before (it escapes me but i remember noteing they could put 40 storeys of building over mine shafts).

Hmmmm...I'm trying to think of two things in the history of this country during that period that may have had an effect on this
Is this really the best you can come up with??

That would be half a fair point Mako if Trafford were playing themselves but unfortunately for your thinking they had opponents in those yrs, some (opponents) had occasion to have our Busby carry silverware through Manchester streets with a million crowd in tow. Like the heading ses 'Goosey-Goosey'.

K, I don't really know what your point is.

Does it elevate your side at all when you refer to the others as scum, and continue to talk down about the achievements of Man Utd, as though they were just a flash in the pan?

Kids in Manchester play more football and that is a good thing.

The rest is irrelevant.

I am not scum, so who are you referring to?

Flyer me olde mucker....if you can relate Camelgob chat to some racsist charge sheet then i would suspect you might be struggling. Once you know in your head how far off the mark you could/have been...then that margin is a constant. Take the strip club glasses off and you wont need to ask me what scum is. Hope they do Barca, love the opportunity to see them back at our gaff (Wembley). ;)

Well, whatever you way, I spent part of my weekend with Rio's family, one of which I am, and all the insults you want to throw at him are rendered meaningless when the reality is that you would be fawning over him if he were playing for your team.

I am not scum.

Carry on with that talk, and you are just part of the problem, when I am part of the solution.
