Sorry sold it for £150 and it was pretty much original iirc, simplex rear mech as you say and the pedals were pretty plasticy but a very nice bike all the same. That saddle was pretty uncomfortable too

i just managed to find a simplex rear mech on flea bay
and have ordered some tyres . im tempted to change the chainset for a sakae which yours had although it obviosly isnt french but is specced on your cat scan not sure the stronglight is original and has steel rings which add to the weight
havent really ridden it in anger yet as tyres are all but perished so the pleasures of the saddle will have to wait im afraid!
