I have had this bike for about a year. This is not your typical build thread since there is no before, just after.

Thanks. The paint is in very good condition. The seat tube has the only two flaws which you can't tell from the pictures. I had always wanted on ever since I saw this poster hanging in the local bike shop:

UPDATE

I had to post a couple of updated photos. I never liked the stem and bars. Also, got some 730 XT brakes for the front. This is how I would have built it up BITD. I was going to sell it, but after riding it today, not a chance.

Looking good :cool: especially with all the black components, they really work on Backfire.

I have one of those posters, had it years, I wisely got it laminated as soon as I got it so it's still mint! Hope to get an early U brake Klein one day.

Thanks! I am pretty happy with it now. Those 730 brakes aren't very trick, but they work soooo well.

I also laminated my poster, it hangs in my garage.
