yeah I got my cassette lockring in a box the same size as that

I'm working 10 miles down the road from CRC at the minute and was just too lazy to take a drive down there, P&P was free so I thought what the hell... :D

I've just ordered a set of grips - wonder if they'll arrive in a packing crate!?
They send stuff quickly, but the size of packaging means it can't go through the letterbox if you're at work. Then you get a card and have to go to the sorting office and ....queue....grumpiest git in the world........ no system in place....wait for ages...... etc, etc....don't set me off again!!!!!

This is their standard now afaik??

Got 4 headset spacers delivered this morning in one those in the top pic...

Got a chain and a pair of grips in a wheels box. Which of course didn't fit in the post box and meant a 20 minute wait at the depot collection point.

The exact thing happened to me this morning, Carbon spacer!!! I was gonna do the same thing and post it on here, but you beat me to it!!!

Have they not heard of tiny little padded envelopes??

It's due to the automated machinery they use.
There's an article on BikeRadar of when they visited them that explains it.
