Wanted: Steel forks

Just bought a late 80's Claud Butler Cape Wrath frame off the bay but the forks are too wide at the base and my mudguards don't fit properly even though the braze-on is there. Therefore I'm after some replacement forks of any decent quality steel. I'll be getting them stripped and powdercoated in the near future so any condition will be considered as long as they're not too bad. The more braze-ons the better, but not the end of the world if it doesn't have many, as long as it has the lower mudguard eyelet. I'd also prefer a traditional style crown if possible.

Must be 1 1/8", threadless, for a 26" wheel and have 200mm+ of steerer.

Regards, Steve

I'll have to check the steerers later but I've got a pair of spinners which are a little tatty but if you're stripping and refinishing then great fork and I also a very clean nickle plated pair which came off a Marin.

Staf.
