This was to be my winter project but a change of plans means it has to go.....

As can be seen in the pics, the bike is very well preserved. The seat is obviously not original and at least one of the tyres have been changed in the last 27 years but the rest is as it was when it left the shop all those years ago, right down to the original chain guard and stand. It still has the original Ame tri grips, Cali Lite pads and Araya aero rims which are in excellent condition.

Plenty of paint has flaked off the frame but theres absolutely zero rust to speak of and most of the original stickers are still intact. You could easily peel these off and get new ones made up and re-paint the frame for an easy resto job. The worst thing is that all the gold laquer on the bars and brakes is flaking off and starting to show a bit of rust in places and the original pedals are definetely showing their age (no s*** Sherlock!).

My initial plans were to keep it as it is and just find a used Kashimax aero, new pedals and fit new cables and tyres and use it as a pub bike, then later on maybe do a full restoration job on it, but my new plans (Merlin ti mtb) mean I need to raise some funds and the one in one out policy helps keep the wife sweet  .

I'm looking for £230 posted within the UK, PP gift or bank transfer. I will send overseas but the buyer will need to sort out their own courier. I'll have the bike professionally boxed and ready for collection.
