Hi all
i have a 91 m1000 dale and wanted to know what suspension forks have people put on there series 3.0 frames

trying to decide what ones will look right on mine

i'm looking for some maitou 1's for my se1000
rs1's dont look right

91, it's not "M1000" but "SM1000"

So, manitou 1, RS1 for such a bike (mag 20 came in 1992)
Ideal is to keep the pepperoni fork and to use a flexstem.
What color of your bike ? "Blue pearl and black" or "Jetfight grey " ?

it was jet fight grey but is now matt black lol

its not a period correct bike anymore lol

alltho i do like the sound of a flexstem did they do them in 1 1/4" ahead?

Yep, you could get them in 1 1/4, in fact I had one not so long ago but it went to a member on here.

There were 1" 1/4 flexstem…
Perhaps, I've got such a "quill" part someore in that size

So, as i told you, your bike is not 91 but an 1992 M2000

(but it was weld in 91 )
The 1991 3.0 series, like your ESt were only 1"

cmon folks need pics of these bikes with suspension forks for ideas

1 1/8" forks are fine too

thinking some manitou maybe?

no pics, but a mate of mine had dunno which model, he went through 3 frames in a year (white->green/black->blue/blue) and he ran a manitou 3 on it, looked great on the 2nd two...

had pace and manitou forks on my cannondale, both looked good,,great bike appart from the pink decals ,,,
