Long shot - bike carrier for an MX-5

When I am not cutting hair I like to carry my bike about the place. Is there a rack that anyone has used on the boot of the aforementioned motor? Seriously.

Wont one of the universal ones work? after all its a saloon really. if ya get it to perch on the boot though you might needa light board to be legal and that makes it a bit more annoying.

In his boot? Maybe in a newer one but this is a mk.1 and you can only fit a wheel in with the tyre removed. I am looking at normal racks but they seem to perch somewhat as the boot is so short. It is just a car that was not conceived with portage in mind.

ive heard s2000 owners get on well with saris bones, but i think they got longer boots.
