R richie-t Retro Guru Feedback View Nov 17, 2008 #1 I'm a bit confused. I've got: 9 speed shifters, 9 speed rear mech and 8 speed cassette. Therefore i assume the hub (deore) is 8 speed but can i wham a 9 speed cassette on there? I know i'd need a 9 speed chain for that. thanks folks
