Reccomend me a cheap compact camera

Hi folks

Looking for the above, to take out on my rides, as my current one is a bit knackered now.

Up to about £70 as it will be a present from a relative. Needs to take an SD card, so I can upload onto the laptop

I would go for a Sony Xperia Z1 Compact, second hand. Great camera, but covers you for GPS and phone as well!

Panasonic Lumix always get decent reviews. The one I got 7 years ago is still going strong.

panasonic lumix for me as well. You get an aspheric leica vario elmar lens.Superb results.Having said that the lens is produced by panasonic under licence from leica but you can bet that they wont take risks with the leica name

Been researching this. MOst half decent (olympus/lumix/fuji/nikon) use similar lens systems and sensors so it's the processing that makes the difference and you can tweak that yourself.
