shower advice.

my bathroom shower has just packed in.
there are so many replacements to choose from.
8.5 - 10.8 kw ?
power showers ?
what is the main difference.
basically i dont mind spending a decent amount because it gets used a lot.
any recommendations would be great.

We had our power shower replaced last year with a non power one as the new boiler heating and pressure was sufficient. Much simpler. Just as expensive for a good one.

Check what size wiring you have. There may be some restrictions on max power through the cable you have.

As mattr says. You cant just increase the power of the shower unit without uprating the cable.Also it has to be fitted by a qualified electrician by law to comply with part P of the building regs.That may be a pain to some of us but am assured its not as much of a pain as 10.8 kw in the wrong place
