At work we will (hopefully) soon be sending lots of boxes out to customers.

The boxes are generally two sizes - about shoebox size(1kg) and the other is about 800mm*200mm*400mm and weighs approx 4kg.

Does anyone have any experience of sending goods in bulk like this?

I've had a look at the Post Office and they seem expensive, having a look at TNT and the like as well, but was wondering if anyone had first hand experience of this sort of thing?

We're not looking at warehousing just yet but that may come later....

Thanks in advance!

Will it be multiple boxes to 1 address or single boxes?
In my experience its cheaper to send a pallet than numerous boxes

depends where your work is, but I can recommend Regional Express based in Romsey, Hants. They shipped 53 packages for me, collected in one go to go to 53 addresses. They used Parcel Force, but the price was good, and all were delivered following day. (Price was better than PF offered me)

If you can palletise, then do so, and use a local pallex haulier direct for best price
