Hey - are paypal now charging 10p for every gift transaction? The website gives you two options only now and 'gift' now comes with a 10p charge... :?

It's free if you from your Paypal balance and 5.4% if you're paying by card.

Paypal will not charge a fee if you send a gift and pay from either your PayPal balance, or from a linked bank account. I'm 99% certain that they don't charge if you use a linked debit card either.

You will get charged if you use a Credit Card.

I also think you get charged a fee if you're sending money overseas and using any method OTHER THAN your Paypal balance.
