Anyone know Richard Ballantine or Richard Grant?

Ballantine is of course the "Richard" of "Richard's Bicycle Book."

The two Richards were instrumental in getting the first Ritchey MountainBike to England, and they worked together on a magazine called BMX/Action Bike.

I am working on a book about my MTB experiences, and I would love to connect with either or both of them.

Any help would be gratefully received. Thanks.

You might be able to get through to him via the BHPC.

Good luck with the book CK. Keep us updated as I'm sure a few of us would like to add it to the library.

That's the guy, but I have been unable to register on the site to contact him. Tried two different email addies and don't care to squander a third. If you can get on and direct him my way I would be most grateful.
