Calling any Glaswegians

I'm coming up to glasgow on the 21st with two mates to see the Limmy show, I am trying to book a hostel but don't know which areas of glasgow are suitable and which we should stay away from. We are going to be smashed when we get back so just need somewhere cheap and cheerful to crash.

This is one place I have been looking at "Bentinck Street". Is this a fairly safe area?

any help would be appreciated.

Work round the corner from this street. It is a good safe area very close to the west end "byres road" which is a top spot for drinking and fun. Really handy for a massage parlour too or so I've been told :roll:

enjoy your trip the natives are very friendly just don't start singing "swing low, Sweet Chariot."
