Don't think you can blame how people treat animals on TV. The human race has been treating animals cruel since the the start of time. Fox hunting, bull fighting, dog fighting. And on and on. Animals are treated by many people at just 'things' to be owned and below us. Not our equals. When the human race kills its self off. The animal kingdom & nature will continue as it has done over millions of years.
