daft question about passports

totally daft question do you need a passport to go ireland both northern and the south.

Northern Ireland is part of the UK. The same as Scotland/Wales.
 
yes but I think if you are flying they still need some photo ID, is the point I'm making, like Ireland (south)
 
Indeed, i used to fly leeds-exeter quite a lot and despite it being an internal flight, they were not letting you any where near the aircraft without a passport.
 
:shock: Really. I'm glad i read this post. Other wise i'd be missing my flight :cry:
