Oh yeah Mark, the mighty Hawkwind - good call..... although the genius lyrics of crew member Robert Calvert are set in the aftermath of a nuclear holocaust.

Ride the post-atomic radioactive trash,
The sky's on fire from that nuclear flash,
Diving through the burning hoop of doom,
in an eight wheeled anti-radiation tomb.
Thank you Dr. Strangelove for going do-lally and
leaving me the heritage of Damnation Alley, Damnation Alleyway.

No more Arizona, now Phoenix is fried up,
Oklahoma City what a pity it's gone,
Louisiana delta where the Mississip's dried up,
No more Chatanooga, Cherokee, Lexington,
Radiation wasteland, radiation wasteland.....

Oh, and there are other Sabbath songs - Hand of Doom springs to mind.

Pip.

Pip.

:) Yes, slightly premature setting but i thought travelling to deliver the serum for the virus was in keeping.

I try to pick songs that both have a vague-ish connection and that i like, quite hard though :)

Hope your keeping well amongst all the chaos though.

Rock on fella's! :D

Tomorrow's Harvest. Not only the finest BOC album, but the perfect soundtrack - perhaps along with Day Of The Dead and Turbo Kid - for right now. It never leaves my player anyway; my radio show is named after my favourite track from the LP.
