I have a Dave Yates Diablo 1994 which has only been used for touring 8 speed grip shift, XT groupset, Mavic M 13211 rims, Club Roost tyres

There are no decals, as requested when I bought it.

Am I better off, stripping it back to frame and forks, or just removing the mudguards and racks.

It’s a very nice machine.
None of the parts are worth a fortune in themselves, though perfectly good and suitable for the bike.
You could sell the racks on own, but hassle for you in sales/posting etc.
I’d be tempted to sell as it is.
I’d say £250 not far off mark looking at prior prices (I sold a Diabolical frame for £100 last year). There’s a Diabolo on eBay for £250 BIN which hasn’t sold for ages, but IMO this is nicer.
Great bike but never going to make you a fortune.
