Looks like hose clips running down the drive-side seat-stay? :?

I said '98 as i'd assumed that the top-tube cable guides were in their original place, but have you moved those too?

Well spotted, want to run an unbroken cable from top tube to rear mech, as that is where all the crap gets in and is much neater.

My old friends at Bob Jacksons, took em 3 weeks an they did a neat job to boot. Got a set of Green decals for it and looking for any other green of interest.
No the GT hasn't turned up yet, think it may be on the way back to you, as there is no one here during the day and no neighbours, local post office won't keep large parcels for parcel force, they keep trying to deliver something, but of course i work 7 till 7 Monday to Friday. Let me know if it lands back, have a feeling it will do.

Impressive stuff, i'm having a similar but less extreme idea at the mo...

Nice one, was it worth it? redoing a retro into a modern-ready retro?

What forks are they? do they affect geometry much?
